The first day of Nendaz Freeride is now complete

On Saturday 14 Marc, some 100 riders competed agains each other on Plan du Fou. The riders had a chance to show their talent on two runs, both easily accessed from the top station of Plan du Fou telecabine.

The show lasted for whole day, as it took rider^s a bit over 6 hours to complete all the descents. The day was beautiful, there were no clouds to speak of and it was very warm.

It was hard work for the judges to score all the runs, but in the end of the day they all agreed on the riders who will proceed to the tomorrow's final.

The highlight of the day was run made by chamoniard Mikael Lamy. "Mike" made best possible use of the slope under the Fou cabine. It was fun and exciting to watch Lamy work his way through the slope in a really playfull way. Mike stuck all four of his jumps, the last one of which was best of the day and a real crow pleaser. Mike's second run was not quite as good, but he made it to the finals, with 49 other successfull riders.

The weather forecast is good, so game is on in Nendaz tomorrow!
