Dakine Juniors Video Competition
Winners of the Juniors Video Competition
The Freeride World Tour and Dakine would like to thank all participants of the
Juniors Video Competition for their amazing submissions.
Our panel of experts chose the following winners:
Dylan Florit
Moritz Foot
Forrest Schorderet
Congratulations!
David Arnaud, head of video production of the Freeride World Tour and part of
the judges panel, was clearly happy with the input: "I am amazed by both,
the quality of the skiing and the quality of the editing. You can clearly see
the amount of work those kids put into their videos. It surprises me, how
creative they were with the choice of their angles and the techniques they
employed."
We like to encourage all participants to keep on riping hard and keep the
camera rolling!
See you in Verbier
Nothing can capture the pure joy of a perfect freeride day better than a beautifully shot and crisply edited movie. Where words are at a loss to describe feelings and emotions, images will live up to the task. The Freeride World Tour and Dakine want to uncover your artistic talents and invite you to participate in the Freeride Juniors Video competition. All you have to do is ride your favorite mountain, film and shoot as long as your camera battery has some life, edit the best freeride short movie ever, and submit it to us!
The videos will be judged by a panel of experts consisting of filmmakers, pro-riders, and snow industry professionals.
Prizes
The three best videos, one from each category mentioned below, will be screened at the Swatch Freeride World Tour final in Verbier and featured on FWT's website. The winners will also win a ski-pass for the weekend of the Xtreme Verbier (24 & 25 March, 2012), get to ride with a Pro and collect a gift bag consisting of Dakine heli-pro back-pack, Scott special edition goggles, Freeride World Tour t-shirt, hoodie and socks - pretty cool hey!
