Mt Olympus is a unique resort, it is a blast back in time to simple days in the mountains.
A narrow bulldozer cleared road will lead you to a container holding harnesses which you must wear to be able to ride the lift systems. A simple demonstration from a local of how to use the “nutcracker” and two ropes later you will arrive at the base lodge where you must purchase a lift ticket. Be warned the access road in Mt Olympus can require high ground clearance + 4WD + chains.
