2023 X Over Ride Kitzsteinhorn 3*

Since 2004 the X OVER RIDE has been well-known as an adventurous competition weekend on the Kitzsteinhorn, Kaprun. What started as a small freeride cross competition on the infamous Langwied developed into a seasonal contest highlight in the freeriding, slopestyle and pipe scene.

Freeriding itself has become even more popular on the Kitzsteinhorn with the first X OVER RIDE and due to its snow reliability and the varied off-piste terrain close to the lifts, the Kitzsteinhorn has been praised as one of the Alps’ best freeriding areas! In 2012 the X OVER "back to the roots" was held as a Freeride World Qualifier stop to the Freeride World Tour for the first time.

This continues into 2023 and the X OVER RIDE will host a Qualifier *** event this year.
