The season is getting underway and we are all excited to enjoy the fresh powder. It is crucial to remember to stay safe when freeriding. Safety is the FWT’s #1 priority, it is vital to always be well prepared and ready when you leave the marked trails.

  • Make sure you always have the right gear and know how to use it.

  • Read the forecast and avalanche report.

  • Never ride alone .

  • Take an avalanche safety course.

  • If you’re unsure always seek advice from a certified mountain guide.
