LESS THAN A WEEK TO THE FJWC KAPPL 2018 BY HEAD

The premier junior freeride event hits the Tyrolean Alps from March 21-23, 2018 for the very first time with a stacked roster of top young riders.

Lutry, Switzerland–March 14, 2018–  An abundant winter has provided exceptional conditions for the sixth edition of the world’s top junior freeride competition. Sixty-two riders have been offered invitations to the prestigious event based on their Freeride Junior Tour by Head rankings. Known for an incredibly high level of riding offering a glimpse of the future of the sport of freeride, the highly anticipated event is guaranteed to deliver a show for competitors and fans alike.

The top ski men to watch include Verbier based Jonas De la Jara (SUI), Xavier Thiébaud (GBR), and Jon Clay Patterson (USA) out of Crested Butte. They will compete alongside male snowboarders Finn Duffy (NZL) and Holden Samuels (USA), last year’s FJWC champion Heidi Farmer (CAN) and ski women frontrunners Olivia McNeill from Whistler and Marie Bovard (SUI).

These promising young riders will be accompanied by their inspirational coaches and previous/current Freeride World Tour competitors Rachel Croft, Berkeley Patterson, Grifen Moller, Craig Murray, Connor Pelton, George Rodney and Stefan Häusl.
