With NZ winter at the door, we're stoked to announce the dates for the Freeride competitions that will launch the 2022 season!
A great opportunity to start putting points on the board for the 2022 season while enjoying an unforgettable experience in the Southern hemisphere!

FREERIDE WORLD QUALIFIER
We are very pleased to announce that The Remarkables Ski Resort will host two Freeride World Qualifier competitions.
It has been proven over the years that the NZ Freeride events are a huge kickstart for any athlete wanting to gain qualification onto the pro tour. This is your chance to compete against not only some of the best kiwis but also multiple FWT athletes in nearly all disciplines.

FREERIDE JUNIOR TOUR
This year the Freeride Junior Tour will start with The Remarkables, a longstanding competitive freeriding hub for kiwis, then moving to Mt Olympus, and finally Turoa.
Between unique resorts, volcanoes, many venues options and line choices, this New Zealand season will be unforgettable!

- Registration opens: July 22, 2021 at 12:00 CET
- Registration closes: August 5, 2021 at 24:00 CET
September 10-12, 2021:
Mt.Olympus NZJFT 2* - Mt.Olympus, Canterbury
- Registration opens: July 29, 2021 at 12:00 CET
- Registration closes: August 12, 2021 at 24:00 CET
September 18-20, 2021:
Turoa NZJFT 3* - Mt Ruapehu, North Island
- Registration opens: August 5, 2021 at 12:00 CET
- Registration closes: August 19, 2021 at 24:00 CET

NEWS OF THE SEASON:
With the 2022 season at the door, we have two important announcements to make:
- The points collected in NZ will be valid for both Region 1 and Region 2.
- The new price for the one-event license fee is 25 Euro and for the Tour license is 70 Euro.
