The Verbier Freeride Days are back!

The Verbier Freeride Days started in 2019, and will take place on the 4th and 5th of December 2021, after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID. The event is 100% dedicated to safety prevention and training, and organised by Téléverbier, Verbier Ski School, Guides of Verbier, and the Freeride World Tour.

The Verbier Freeride Days takes place to raise awareness and educate people on the risks of freeriding, so that the sport can be practiced in the safest possible way. The Safety and Line Workshop (which takes place on the 5th of December) is aimed for all levels of expertise, ranging from beginners to experienced, allowing participants to learn from mountain professionals.

Verbier’s ambassadors will be attending to share their knowledge and experience in the mountains, and how they prepare for a day of freeriding or hiking.

There will be an event-village at La Chaux where you can visit information stands, attend presentations on off-piste and rescue equipment. In the morning, coffee and croissant will be served at the Médran Café,  and participants can join the happy hour (between 4 and 6 pm).
