Snowboarder Estelle Rizzolio awarded a season wildcard

The Freeride World Tour is proud to announce Estelle Rizzolio has been given a season wildcard in the women’s snowboard category. Estelle started her freeride journey in Chablais (CH) over 20 years ago, fine-tuning her skills to finally earn her place on the biggest stage of all.

Estelle is no stranger to freeride competition, as she has been a regular contender on the FWT Qualifiers since 2019, showing incredible progression year after year. In fact, she has numerous podium finishes during this time, culminating in a record year in 2022, when she finished second overall in Region 1 (Europe). Her highlights of last season include:

• 1st at Verbier FWT Qualifier 4*
• 1st at Open Faces Silvretta Montafon 4*
• 2nd at Jasna Adrenalin 4* FWT Challenger
• 2nd at Nendaz Freeride 4* FWT Challenger

Can she carry this form into 2023 and shake up the already talent-packed roster? No doubt, she has proved herself worthy of competing at the highest level, and she will certainly be one to watch.
