Freeride World Tour
FWT Returns to France with the Val Thorens Pro – Fresh Snow Awaits!
The Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance is back on French soil after nine years with the highly anticipated debut of the Val Thorens Pro. Located in the heart of Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest ski area, Val Thorens—voted the world’s best ski resort—is ready to deliver incredible freeride action on its dramatic and challenging terrain.
Weather conditions early in the week will bring up to 60 cm of fresh snow, with strong winds, heavy precipitation, and low visibility on Monday and Tuesday making it impossible to run the competition on these days. However, these conditions will set the stage for perfect freeride action as sunny skies are expected on Wednesday, offering an ideal weather window for the event to begin.
