The FIS Freeride World Championships 2026 in Andorra bring together an extraordinary lineup of riders from across the globe, each ready to take on the legendary faces of Ordino Arcalís. For the first time under the FIS banner, nations large and small unite in a shared celebration of progression, passion, and pure freeride spirit. Here’s your chance to meet the nations, a closer look at the athletes representing their countries on skiing and snowboarding’s biggest stage. From seasoned icons to rising talents, these competitors are gearing up to give their all at Andorra 2026.

North & south america

South America and North America bring a combined field of 19 athletes to Andorra 2026, with 4 competitors from Chile and Argentina and 15 riders from Canada and the United States. Together, they represent a wide spectrum of freeride backgrounds.

Australasia & Asia

Australasia and Asia contribute a dynamic group of 13 athletes, with 8 riders from New Zealand and Australia and 5 competitors representing Japan. These riders are shaped by diverse mountain environments across the Southern Hemisphere and Asia.

Europe

This European lineup features a strong and varied delegation of 32 athletes, including 27 riders from Western and Central Europe (Andorra, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Poland) and 5 competitors from Northern Europe (the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Norway). Blending long-standing alpine heritage with fast-growing freeride communities.
