Mia Jones

Mia Jones did not ease into the Freeride World Tour. In her 2026 rookie season, the Tahoe rider became both FWT Champion and Freeride World Champion, winning on some of the sport's biggest stages, including Alaska and the Bec des Rosses.

Big terrain has always been part of Jones’ world. Growing up between Truckee and Palisades Tahoe, she developed her snowboarding in a Sierra community where steep lines and serious terrain come with the territory.

Only 21, she returns for her second season as defending champion, already established among the youngest names at the top of the sport.
