Wynter McBride

Wynter McBride entered her first freeride competition in 2022 as an adult. After years coaching the junior team at Snowbasin, she decided competing herself would make her a better coach. Four years later, she was standing on an FWT podium.

Raised at Snowbasin above Ogden, Utah, McBride rides with the strong, direct style her home mountain demands and quickly showed an ability to handle the Tour's more consequential terrain.

Off the snow, the 27-year-old has an unusually broad range of interests: downhill mountain biking, painting, music and, most recently, yoga teacher training. That variety reflects an athlete whose path to the FWT has never been conventional.
