Joey Leonardo

Joey Leonardo comes from Edwards, Colorado, by way of the small Arrowhead ski area, and has been competing in freeride for most of his life. He won the junior world title at sixteen and has had the FWT in his sights ever since.

His 2026 rookie season included a breakthrough podium in Val Thorens, where his run combined a Colorado freestyle background with genuine big-mountain commitment.

When the snow melts, Leonardo is usually on a rock face somewhere. Climbing, he says, gives him something outside skiing and keeps the sport from becoming everything. At 24, he returns for his second season with his first year of Tour experience behind him.
