Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson became FWT Champion in 2023 after a season that included victories in Baqueira, Fieberbrunn and Ordino. After three years away from the Tour, she chose to earn her return through Challenger Region 2 and qualified again for 2027.

Anderson comes from Jaffray, British Columbia, and rides out of Fernie, where she credits the terrain, snow and local community for producing strong young riders.

Before freeride, she spent seven years racing snowboardcross with the Canadian national team, building the technical foundation beneath her big-mountain riding. Away from snow, Anderson is an enthusiastic amateur birdwatcher, perhaps one of the quieter hobbies in the FWT field.
