Toby Rafford

Toby Rafford grew up as a mogul skier before switching to freeride at 14, following his sister into the sport and never looking back. The Sun Valley skier broke through immediately on the FWT, taking second at the Baqueira opener in his first-ever Tour start in 2025.

Rafford skis with the clean, powerful style of someone raised on Idaho terrain. His first seasons have shown an unusual level of consistency for such a young rider, particularly on the Tour's biggest stages.

Away from the pressure of competition, the 23-year-old says he prefers not to look too far ahead or behind, an approach that seems to suit his composed style on snow.
