Wynter McBride

Born in Ogden, Utah, Wynter McBride discovered freeride while coaching the Snowbasin Junior team, before ever competing herself. After earning the Spirit Award at her first event, she quickly climbed the ranks and qualified for the Freeride World Tour with a strong Challenger season.

In her rookie FWT year, Wynter made an immediate impact, securing a 3rd place podium in Val Thorens and a strong 4th place in Alaska. Finishing the season above the Cut, she proved she belongs on tour, and with her energy and progression, she’s one to watch for the seasons ahead.

There are a lot of women and younger girls who are really pushing the level in lots of ways with tricks, size of airs, and technicality. I would love to be part of that growth in my own way in Freeride.
