2026 Gudauri Freeride Week Junior

Sadzele Juniors 2* is the opening event of Gudauri Freeride Week, taking place on the southern face of Sadzele Mountain, where young skiers and snowboarders will compete on its steep alpine terrain and technical natural features for the title of Georgian Freeride Series’ Junior Champion.

 Location & Setting
Gudauri is a major ski resort in Georgia, situated high in the Greater Caucasus mountains along the Georgian Military Highway. The resort village itself ranges roughly 2000 m to 2750 m above sea level and is one of the highest permanent settlements in Europe.

Ski Area
Lifts run from about 1,990 m up to ~3,270 – 3,279 m above sea level. Total ski slopes are over 57 – 75 km with terrain for beginners through advanced skiers. The resort is especially known for off-piste and freeride skiing, with many open high-alpine areas. Multiple gondolas and chairlifts serve the slopes (e.g., Pirveli, Soliko, Shino, Snow Park, Kudebi, Sadzele).
