Competition Update: Georgia Pro to Be Restaged in Kühtai – Innsbruck, Austria

Following the cancellation of the Georgia Pro due to unstable snowpack conditions, the FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance has identified a solution that allows the competition to take place. The Georgia Pro will now be restaged in Kühtai – Innsbruck, Austria.

Schöffi’s Face in Kühtai provides the terrain, conditions, and operational framework required to host the event under FWT safety standards.

Restaging the competition ensures that athletes retain the opportunity to compete for the points originally allocated to the Georgia Pro.

This solution applies to this season only. The Georgia Pro remains an integral stop on the FWT calendar, and we look forward to returning next year to host the event in its original setting.

We are currently targeting a competition day on Thursday or Friday, subject to final confirmation based on mountain conditions. Further details regarding scheduling and broadcast information will be shared soon.

We thank the Kühtai – Innsbruck local teams for their flexibility and collaboration in making this possible, as well as the Georgia team for their professionalism and support throughout this process.
