Freeride Fiasco Season 2, Episode 4 Is Out Now

Georgia, Austria, and the Wildest Week of the Season

Episode 4 might be the most chaotic chapter of the season so far. The plan was simple: head to Georgia for Stop 3, ride deep powder, and put on a show. Reality had other ideas.

This episode takes you behind the curtain of a week where nothing went according to plan. A competition cancelled. Then a relocation to Austria in a last push to save the stop. Then, ultimately, another cancellation. Travel, waiting, constant updates, shifting timelines and a whole lot of uncertainty. Welcome to what the crew calls the FIASCO PRO.

When Safety Comes First

As frustrating as it can be for athletes and fans, this episode is also a reminder of what big mountain competition demands. In Georgia, stability concerns escalated quickly, and the decision was made to cancel. The riders regrouped, kept training, stayed ready, and prepared for a potential reset in Austria.

In Austria, the story continued. The schedule moved, conditions evolved, and the window never quite aligned. In the end, the call was made again: no contest. Disappointing for everyone, but the right decision when the snowpack and the surface conditions don’t offer the safety margins required at this level.

The Side of the Tour You Rarely See

Episode 4 is not about results. It is about the reality of a freeride season: adapting on the fly, managing pressure, staying focused through uncertainty, and keeping the energy up even when plans change.

Between long travel days, early mornings, face checks, rider meetings, and plenty of “we’ll know more soon,” the crew shows why freeride is as much about mindset as it is about riding. And in the middle of the chaos, there are still great moments: team spirit, local culture, and the kind of behind-the-scenes access that makes Freeride Fiasco what it is.
