Peak Performance and Freeride World Tour extend partnership through 2031

Longstanding collaboration continues to drive athlete performance, innovation, and community growth in freeride

As the Freeride World Tour comes to its close for the season in Verbier, Peak Performance and the FWT are proud to announce the extension of their longstanding partnership through 2031. Building on an existing agreement running until 2027, Peak Performance will continue the Official Presenting Partner for an additional four-year period, from 2028 to 2031, reinforcing a shared commitment to the progression of freeride skiing and snowboarding.

A long-term commitment to freeride

Since 2016, Peak Performance and the Freeride World Tour have worked hand in hand to shape the evolution of freeride. Together, they have created a platform for athletes to develop and perform at the highest level, supporting talents such as Tiemo Rolshoven and WeiTien Ho, as well as champions including Justine Dufour-Lapointe (2023,2025 FWT Ski Women Champion), Hedvig Wessel (2024 FWT Ski Women Champion), Kristofer Turdell (2018, 2021 FWT Ski Men Champion), Elisabeth Gerritzen (2021 FWT Ski Women Champion), or Valentin Rainer (2023 FWT Ski Men Champion).

Supporting freeride at every level

Beyond elite competition, both partners share a vision of growing freeride within the broader mountain community. This commitment has led to the creation of pioneering initiatives such as Freerid’her, the first freeride competition dedicated to women only, held annually in Verbier and designed to open the sport to new participants.

In addition, the Freeride Women Days, also developed through this collaboration, offer dedicated sessions focused on mountain safety, skill development, and community building, further strengthening inclusivity and participation in the sport.

FWT Founder and CEO

Ten years ago, we began this journey with Peak Performance, united by a shared vision of what freeride could become. Since then, we’ve grown side by side, facing the same mountains, and building a partnership grounded in trust and shared values. Renewing this collaboration is not just a continuation, but a celebration of everything we’ve created together, and everything very exciting still to come.

Looking ahead

The renewed partnership will continue to focus on athlete-driven product development, safety initiatives, and expanding the global freeride community. Together, Peak Performance and the Freeride World Tour remain committed to pushing the boundaries of the sport while staying true to its core values.

Here’s to the athletes, the mountains, and the next chapter.
