Abel Moga

Few riders are as closely connected to an FWT venue as Abel Moga is to Baqueira Beret. Born in Vielha, just down the valley, he was introduced to freeride at 11 through the local Escuela Emotion club.

Moga announced himself internationally in 2022 with a podium at his home event and has since become one of the Tour's constants. His skiing is pure Val d'Aran: strong, fluid and built on a lifetime of Pyrenean snow.

Away from competition, Moga describes himself simply. He helps with the family business in Vielha and likes staying close to his people. Every time the Tour returns to Baqueira, he competes with an entire valley behind him.
