Enzo Nilo

Enzo Nilo came to freeride through freestyle, gradually moving toward the backcountry simply because powder interested him more than learning new tricks.

That transition created a riding style that feels fluid rather than forced. Val Thorens has played a defining role in his career. First as his adopted home resort, then as the backdrop to his breakthrough FWT victory in 2025.

Originally from Bidart on the Basque coast, Nilo spends the off-season surfing and paragliding, activities he describes as essentially the same life on a different playground. At 33, he brings years of Tour experience and a deep connection to both mountains and ocean.
