about

Max Hitzig, the talented German skier, earned an Event Wildcard for the 2022 Fieberbrunn Pro. He clinched victory with a breathtaking run that showcased his creativity, including two mesmerizing 360s and an enormous backflip.

Max's electrifying debut season on the Tour left a lasting impression, leading to him being named the FWT 2023 Men Rider of the Year and concluded the season with a strong 4th place finish in the overall standings. He continued to achieve remarkable success in the 2024 season, culminating in the FWT Champion Title.

After sustaining an injury prior to the 2025 season, Hitzig was forced to withdraw from that year’s Freeride World Tour. Following a successful recovery and training, he has been granted an Injury Wildcard for the 2026 season, marking his highly anticipated return to competition. I can’t believe it. I was so nervous before my line. I have worked so hard for this. The level is getting so high, so I know it is getting harder to claim the title every year, which makes me happy to win it this year. I was scared to ski the Bec des Rosses from the top, but when you are in competition mode you just go full send!
