Ross Tester

Ross Tester's freeride story started with a deal. A ski racer as a kid, he told his parents he would quit racing for freeride if he won his next race. You guessed it, he won.

The Truckee-born, Snowbird-based American burst onto the Tour in 2021 with victories in Ordino and Fieberbrunn and has remained one of the field's most reliable big-mountain riders ever since. His career also includes a Baqueira victory and several strong performances on the Bec des Rosses.

Tester has built a reputation for rising when conditions become more demanding. Now entering his seventh season, the 27-year-old brings experience across almost every kind of terrain the Tour can offer.
