Michaela Davis-Meehan

Michaela Davis-Meehan has represented Australia at the highest level of freeride for six seasons, with a career that includes FWT victories in Ordino and Kicking Horse.

Her introduction to the sport came almost by accident. During a 2015 splitboard trip with former champion Aline Bock, she was encouraged to enter a freeride competition. Davis-Meehan tried one in New Zealand, won it and never returned to the park background that had shaped her early riding, although those slopestyle years still show whenever she incorporates an air into a line.

Now based in Revelstoke, the self-described powder snob spends her off-seasons surfing and living out of a van.
