HEAD | TYROLIA joins the Freeride World Tour

The Freeride World Tour has always been about pushing limits: in the mountains, in competition, and in how the sport grows. Starting in 2026, we’ll take another step forward with the arrival of HEAD and TYROLIA as Official Suppliers of the FWT.

What this means for the FWT

For three seasons, HEAD | TYROLIA will be partners of the 6 FWT Pro event. Fans will also see them at selected Junior and Qualifier events, supporting the path where the next generation of freeriders is already making their mark.

A big season ahead

The partnership begins with a historic moment: the first-ever FIS Freeride World Championships in Andorra in 2026. This milestone signals a new era for the sport, and having HEAD | TYROLIA by our side highlights the strength and visibility freeride is gaining on the global stage.

Supporting every aspect of the Tour

HEAD skis, boots, poles, and TYROLIA bindings will equip the FWT staff who work in the mountains—whether they’re securing venues, coordinating safety, or delivering live productions from remote peaks. For fans, that means the chance to see freeride presented at its very best.

FWT FOunder and CEO

We are very excited to welcome HEAD as a new partner of the Freeride World Tour. HEAD’s expertise, strong activation power, and the high-level quality of products are major assets to support the development of the FWT and ensure the excellence of the Tour.

Nicolas Hale-Woods

Vice President HEAD Ski & Binding

On the mountain, trust in your gear is everything, whether you’re competing or running international events on legendary faces. At HEAD | TYROLIA, we’ve been building that trust for decades. From grassroots riders to the pinnacle of freeride, we’re here to support the community. The FWT is the biggest stage in competitive freeriding and the perfect partner for us to work together towards this common goal.

Gear trusted by champions

HEAD gear is already a familiar sight in the FWT, with athletes like Jenna Keller (SUI), Abel Moga (SPA), Lena Kohler (GER), and Carl Regnér Eriksson (SWE) showing what’s possible with their setups. Past champions Hedvig Wessel (SWE) and Jess Hotter (NZL) have also proved that HEAD can perform at the highest level. Now, that expertise and reliability become part of the FWT’s foundation.

Looking forward

For us, freeride has never just been about podiums: it’s about expression, progression, and the people who keep the sport alive. With HEAD | TYROLIA now joining the FWT, fans can look forward to even bigger moments, bolder performances, and the continued growth of a sport that thrives on passion.

The next chapter of freeriding is about to begin, and with HEAD | TYROLIA by our side, we can’t wait to see where the lines will take us.
