Noémie Equy

Noémie Equy made an extraordinary entrance to the FWT, winning four events and the world title during her 2025 rookie season. She followed that breakthrough by winning her home event in Val Thorens in 2026.

Equy arrived in freeride from the French freestyle national team, carrying a deep-rooted connection to Les 7 Laux, where she grew up dreaming of where snowboarding might take her. The journey has since taken her far beyond those early ambitions.

Away from competition, she brings the same energy to a life that spans multiple worlds. Summers are spent working as a restaurant chef, while she also founded an event connecting women athletes across outdoor sports. At 26, Equy’s career reflects both elite ambition and a commitment to the wider community that surrounds it.
