About Baqueira Beret
The resort was founded 60 years ago and is located in the Spanish Pyrenees between Val d’Aran and Valls d’Àneu. Four different areas make up the resort, each with its own distinct character: Baqueira, Beret, Bonaigua and Baciver. The majority of slopes are on the Atlantic-facing side of the Pyrenees, guaranteeing great amounts of high-quality snow. It can be accessed via both valleys through the Vielha tunnel and the port of Bonaigua and also from Toulouse (France).
The total area spans 2,273 hectares, with 171 km of routes and 123 slopes. This extensive terrain allows for skiing and snowboarding without crowds. The resort, covering an elevation change of 1,110 metres, starts at Baqueira 1500 and reaches 2,610 metres at Cap de Baciver.
Baqueira Beret enjoys exceptional natural snow coverage, making it a highly prized resort for winter sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. It also has 7 kilometres of Nordic ski trails, a Snowpark, boardercross, funpark and Audi Ski Kronos, along with a host of other facilities for maximum fun in the snow. The quality of the local cuisine and the historical Romanesque heritage make the area worth a visit.
