Simon Zwischenbrugger

Simon Zwischenbrugger brings an Austrian alpine background to the 2027 rookie class. A racer until around 14, he grew up in Obergurgl and says he knows just about every rock on the mountain.

His route to the FWT accelerated quickly. After receiving a wildcard into the Challenger Series, Zwischenbrugger finished the season at the top of the Challenger ranking and turned what had felt like a long-term goal into reality.

Fresh out of school, he spends his off-seasons in the mountains with family and friends and says staying connected to where he grew up remains important. His first FWT season will also include a home-country stop in Fieberbrunn.
