2026 Pitztal Wild Face Qualifier
The Pitztal Wild Face is a timed race that is not judged on the line taken, as is usually the case in Freeride World Qualifier events. The competition run will be held on the north face of the Mittagskogel, and 96 riders, plus the 4 winners from last year, can take part. Start numbers will be assigned at the riders' meeting after the mandatory course inspection on the previous day. There are 4 different categories: men's and women's skiing, and men's and women's snowboarding.

5 directional corridors that must be passed through, otherwise free choice of terrain (monitored by mountain rescue)
Start every 30 seconds according to start numbers. Riders who are not at the start on time must ride at the end. The routes for the qualification and main competition may change due to snow and weather conditions.
